Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 October 2026

These terms are the ground rules for using our website, contacting us about a project, and using the online tools and libraries we publish.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using avelonlabs.online or any of its subdomains (together, the “Site”), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. If you use the Site for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for that business.

2. Who we are and what we offer

AvelonLabs (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a software development business based in Sri Lanka. The Site describes our services (web and mobile apps, UI/UX design, custom software and modernization) and may offer online tools and libraries.

Information on the Site is general and may change. Sending an enquiry does not create a contract. Paid project work starts only when both sides agree to a written proposal, statement of work or agreement, which will set out scope, price, timeline and ownership. If that document conflicts with these terms, the document for that project prevails.

3. Using the Site

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone’s rights while using the Site;
  • send spam, malicious files or misleading messages through the contact form, or try to get around reCAPTCHA or other protections;
  • probe, attack, overload or scrape the Site in a way that harms its operation;
  • copy or resell the Site’s content or tools except as these terms or a tool’s licence allow.

We may block access or remove content if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

4. Contact form and communications

Information you send us is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Please give accurate details so we can reply. We aim to respond within one business day, but we cannot guarantee a response time or that we will take on every project.

5. Intellectual property

The Site’s design, text, logos, graphics and code are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view the Site and share links to it, but you may not copy or reuse our branding or content without written permission.

Ownership of work we create for a client is set out in that client’s agreement. Project showcases on the Site are presented in a way that respects client confidentiality.

6. Online tools and libraries

We may publish free and freemium tools and software libraries on subdomains of the Site. When we do, the following applies:

  • Free tools are provided as they are. We may change, limit or withdraw them at any time.
  • Paid or freemium features are covered by the plan details and any extra terms shown when you sign up or buy. Those extra terms apply alongside these.
  • Libraries and code we release are licensed under the licence stated in their repository or package. For that code, the licence prevails over these terms.
  • Check results from any tool before relying on them for important decisions, and do not upload unlawful content or sensitive personal data unless a tool says it is designed for that.

7. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to or use services from others (for example Google reCAPTCHA and Google Analytics). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or policies.

8. Disclaimer

The Site and our free tools are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not promise that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that its content and tools will be accurate or fit for your particular purpose.

9. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or our free tools. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or free tools is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service in the 12 months before the claim, or nothing if you paid us nothing. Liability for paid projects is governed by the agreement for that project.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, or any consumer rights you have under the laws of the place where you live.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Site or any tool at any time if you break these terms or if we need to protect the Site or other users. You may stop using the Site at any time.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. If a dispute arises, please first email us at avelonlabs.support@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. If that does not work, the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction, except where the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Site and our services change. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version, and continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
